At HighCloud Solutions Télépilotées inc., protecting your personal information is a priority. This policy describes how we collect, use, retain and protect your personal information in accordance with the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (chapter P-39.1), as amended by Act 25 (Québec).

1.1 Data capture by drone during our operations

HighCloud carries out aerial data capture missions (photography, video, LiDAR, thermography) as part of mandates entrusted to us by our clients. These missions target the sites, infrastructure, or land identified in the mandate.

Personal information of third parties not targeted by the mandate (for example, people or vehicles located near the surveyed site) may be incidentally captured during a mission.

To limit this impact, HighCloud applies the following measures:

  • Framing flight zones to limit capture to what the mandate requires;
  • Blurring or anonymizing images upon request;
  • Retaining data only as long as necessary, followed by secure destruction, in accordance with section 5 of this policy.

Upon delivery of deliverables to the client, responsibility for their use, retention, and protection transfers to the client, in accordance with the terms of their service agreement with HighCloud.

If you believe you appear in an image captured during a HighCloud mission and wish to make a request (access, blurring, removal), contact David Leblanc, person responsible for the protection of personal information, at david@highcloud.ca or 450-915-1188, ext. 201.
