RPAS compliance in practice

How a structured RPAS organization manages authorizations, risk and traceability day to day.

January 15, 2025Équipe HighCloud

Operating RPAS in compliance requires a clear structure: governance, mission authorization, risk management and traceability.

Mission authorization

Each mission is authorized according to documented criteria. Pilots have procedures and operational limits (VLOS, EVLOS, protected environment) suited to the context.

Risk management

Risk analysis is carried out in advance and updated according to context. Mitigations are documented and communicated to the teams.

Traceability

Flights, training and maintenance are recorded to ensure the traceability required by Transport Canada and our insurers.
